Oldies but Goodies...

Oh me oh my! Those who don't have facebook or keep up with it might just be seeing these for the first time. This is what happens when hyper meets a scanner. I came across the most random pictures of all time and I just had to scan 'em then post 'em. And no I do not apologize for posting these incredibly hot pics of my hubby. Although he may murderlize me for having these on here :) Love you hun. Enjoy!

He'll always look like this to me :)
Dave flippin' at the MTC!
Jenea & Ryan/Sandi & Ben: thought you might want this one :)
EFY in 1962... okay not really but it was a lifetime ago. Wasn't this the year we saw Stadium of Fire?
My dear sisters... real and almost real. Love you!
Stacie you are going to kill me for posting this! Awww, those days in provo trying on different BCBG and BeBe outfits. You made everything look fabulous!
Yet another night of dress up. Girls never grow out of it I suppose. And what ever happened to Dusty? Anyone know what he is up to?
Fun snowboarding trip at the Skidmore's cabin. Good times :)
I think this is the last day of Soph year before Rachel moved away to Provo :( Look at how young and optimistic we were... I mean are.
First grade toothless.
Graduation party I think 97? We were so cool.
K seriously? Does anyone else remember doing random Contempo portraits? Love you Les.
Happy couple.
Making random faces. I have like a hundred of these pics. Where were these taken?
Sum this is classic. We were such drama queens back then (well maybe I still am a wee bit). I know you love me, and seriously I got some serious love for you girl! Glad the drama of high school days are passed! Now we could have all of our children underneath us around the "senior" block. The boys lined up by age and our little girlies in their carriers. Who knew?
Yes once again Dave in all of his magnificent glory. He is posing here for a pic with his little sister.
One of our many high school water fights. Seriously I want to know who took this pic. Either it was US weekly, or one of us girlies knew about the surprise attack and threw the rest of us under the bus, or one of the guys had a camera and sent us the pic? None of this makes sense. Anyone want to take a guess?
This is how I spent so many of the days in high school playing the guitar with Em (& in this pic with my BFF Mary Jane). We really thought we were going to make it big someday.
MJ & I- at this point 14 years as BF's.
Homecoming 98 with my mom & dad (my other real dad).
My mom, dad (my real dad), and the youngest 4 girls in my family (stacy, shauna, sherri & me).

Lately...

I learned to ride one of these....

I have found a new love. Although it doesn't come without a price...

Addi is rolling over

Addi is eating cereal

Blake is singing louder and cuter than ever!

I got a root canal! My first, but it really wasn't that bad. Dr. Hamberlin did a fabulous job :) Anyone who needs one quick and practically pain free look him up!! Here is an action shot!

You Do the Math...

What does one ridiculous locking of the keys in a car
X'ed by 3 (in a 4 month period)
Minus one failed attempt of Onstar assistance
Plus 6 firemen
And an additional 2 police officers
and 1 infant locked in a car for the duration of an hour equal?

One retarded mother.

That's right and the winner of Mother of the year goes to... Me!

There are just so many people I need to thank for this.

Grateful Sunday- 9 years

This was the first pic I could find of Dave and I together...how sad. (Note to self: take more pics with hubby together. )

Anyway, Dave and I celebrated our 9th Anniversary this week. It has been such an amazing ride. We have certainly had our ups and downs, but the most important thing is that we have made it. I can't wait to see what lies ahead for our not so little family in the years to come!

Top 10 things I loved about you this year:

10- Your Cockroach hunting skills

9- our Sunday walks as a family

8- fake mother’s day Sundays

7- graduating from orthodontic school and having me there to celebrate it with you

6- packing the U-Haul by yourself and moving alone from tx to az (oh! And getting knocked out while doing it and still getting the job done!)

5- Reuniting with you after living apart for 3 months

4- earnestly praying for a job and struggling together to make it.

3- having a beautiful little girl together

2- watching you be such a great dad and do daddy son dates with our children

1- watching you work hard everyday for our family. We are so proud of you!

Happy Birthday Austin!!

Apparently not only has Austin turn 7, but he also thinks posing like a gangsta is hilarious. I guess it is funny, just not in every stinkin picture we take!! Nonetheless we love our little 7 year old even if he thinks he is a gangsta.

Favorite things about Austin:

His toothless smile
His uncontrollable laugh
His self motivation
His ability to see the value in hard work
His desire to make others happy
His testimony and example

Happy Birthday Austin we love you so much!

Christmas and such... such as... and so forth!

Seriously I am so lame at blogging lately, one of my many goals this year is to be better. I just got my first blog book in the mail and I love it. I am so happy to have every post, even the dumb ones! So there is my motivation. My next blog book.

*I did my blog book through blurb.com for all of you who asked* :)

Anyway, I hope everyone had a fabulous Christmas. Here is ours in a nutshell!

Christmas Addi (like Malibu Barbie, Biker Barbie, Rollerskate Barbie we have "describing word" Addi)

Addi with Grandpa Stephenson on Christmas Eve... pretty sure she never gets set down :)

Chase blew us away with a variety of Christmas solos in front of the Christmas tree. Who knew this little guy enjoyed performing as much as he did this night (let's just say he gets that from his dad ha ha)!

And the bow...

Uncle Craig reading the Night Before Christmas to the kids!

The very professional Mary and Joseph. Never mind that baby Jesus was represented by my dear childhood polar bear friend.

This was the best we could do for the Wise men. Next year I would recommend to myself to remember to pick up some Burger King Crowns instead of making a turban out of a towel.

Caroling, caroling, caroling and more caroling!

Christmas morning...

Mrs. Clause leaves delicious treats for our family on Christmas morning! She always leaves the kids favorite treats. Everytime Austin saw Santa he reminded him to tell Mrs. Santa how much he loved Funyuns! Mrs. Clause leaves a yummy breakfast too!

This one is for Vogue. Wait someone forgot to airbrush the eye boogers out of my eyes.

Now all that is left to do is play with all of the fun presents :) As illustrated below:
