The Move...

Okay... I know I am a little dramatic sometimes (well, all the time) but I am glad the added drama of the move is over. I am SO extremely grateful for all the of guys that came out to help this lil' (okay big) prego lady move. I couldn't have done it without you. So thank you ladies for sending your hubbies! Love to you. Anyway, we are almost moved in! Does anyone else feel like unpacking might be the worst job in the world? So give me some time and I will eventually get back into real life. In the meantime don't hate me if I don't call or check your blog. You know I love you and will catch up soon!

Here is a recap of the move:

Ryan, Chad & Ben take time out to pose
The guys in the moving truck
Don't lift too much I know... Hey! I was just being smart for the bambina I am carrying too!
Uhaul advertisement? No just all the gents who helped me move. Ryan was working so hard he couldn't even take time for a pic!
Go Toros? Guess Toro pride never dies. Oh! and notice Dave's football jersey on display. Thanks Benji... and nice booty shot Ryan.

Thanks Nate for bringing your camera so we could remember this fun moving day!

If You Love Me....

Happy Birthday to me tomorrow BTW.  Just incase I forget to post that I am turning the big 28!  No you don't have to feel bad for me because I am 8 months pregnant, living in AZ without my hubby (whom  I have seen a total of 14 days in the last 2 months), and that I get to celebrate this fun day all by my lonesome.

But here is something you can feel bad about...

I have to move into our house Saturday without Dave (he is in TX still) and I need help! So all of you good hearted AZ friends o' mine.  Will you help me?  Saturday morning this prego lady (just newly 28) needs help loading stuff from our storage unit (Gaudalupe & Stapley) into our truck and out of the truck into our house (Val Vista & Williams Field).  I am thinking Saturday at 8:30 am.

I promise I wouldn't ask for help if I wasn't desperate.  So if you love me (sniffle sniffle).... post that you or your hubby can help me and make sure I have a way to contact you!

No more grovelling.... pinky promise!

A Penny for Your Thoughts...

What do you do when you have nothing else to post?  Steal someone else's post of course!

So go ahead follow the directions and let me sit back and enjoy the warm fuzzy feeling I get from reading your post....

1. Add a comment on my blog, leave a few memories (or 1) you and I had together.  It doesn't matter if you know me lots or know me a little... (Now let's play nice)

2. Next, repost these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you.  If you leave a memory about me, I'll assume you're playing the game and I will return the favor.

Loves...

A first...

Austin lost his first tooth last night! You have no idea what a proud moment this is in a dentist sons life.  He was so excited and woke me up in the middle of the night to show me the money and treat the tooth fairy left him! Austin is officially a BIG boy!

An ordinary & a NOT so ordinary day!

A typical day at Grandmas house:

Waking up early to help Grandma in the yard.

Getting dirty is just a bonus...

Finding way to beat the heat by swimming or another fun water activity!

It has been fun to try to keep these little boys busy & happy in this Arizona heat!

Now onto our NOT so ordinary days:
#1
A trip to Bashas taught an interesting lesson.  I walk in with my three lovely children in hopes to place them in Cub Care (Like Kroger's Hugsie Land).  I noticed a sign saying "If you need me page me".  I think "hmmmm by the time I page the lady I could be finished shopping".  So I grab a cart and place Blake in when he notices a Diego just like his and starts screaming for it.   Then crying (oh! and don't forget the nice bouncy ball display that he needed one of too).  So as I scramble to grab my little stinker whatever he is pointing at and screaming for in order to keep the peace I notice Austin and Chase have found themselves on the floor completing a wrestling match.  As I turn around to get after them and guess what my cart runs into?  A nice display of glass bottles of beer (placed strategically in front of Cub Care) and I watch in horror as they hit the ground.  Now the beer is all over the floor and nearing my children who are still wrestling on the ground.  I rush to get them up and just then Austin puts his finger in it and then tastes it.
I learned what the phrase "Out of control" truly means.  And to think this awesome mom (me) who has everything under control will be adding another child to her family.

Lesson learned: Austin has mentioned now a couple of times "Mom why would people drink that stuff.  It is so disgusting.  It tastes like barf and poop and every other gross thing in the world.  Plaaaaahhhh.  If I think about it I will puke."  Hopefully Austin remembers this when he is tempted to break the WofW later in his life.  (You never know! Besides there has to be something good that comes from that nightmare).

#2
The very next day I take my chances with my children entering another store... this time Super Target.  I need a few things for Chase for preschool so after the gym my happy family heads there.  Things are going great.  I get the items needed and we are headed down the aisle for our check out. Just then Chase takes off down one of the infant aisles.  I panic and am running as quick as the cart will allow and sacrifice Austin and plead him to try to Chase after him.  I catch up with Austin and Chase is no where to be found.  We look and look and finally about after 7 minutes I start to panic.  I say about a million prayers and we contact a Target worker.  They issue a "code yellow" and shut down the store.  Workers were looking for him as well as other kind shoppers.  We are all yelling his name.  I am in tears and have in my mind my little guy is 15 minutes towards Mexico with some stranger.  Just then, Austin yells "I found him".  He was hiding inbetween two boxes of stroller/car seats the entire time.  I wanted to yell at him and ask him why he didn't answer, but all I could do was hug him.

Lesson learned:   I am the worst mom in America.  I am sure in the other countries there has to be someone equally as out of control. (At least that is what I tell myself to make me feel better).

Happy 4th!

Yes, indeed we are alive and well!  It has just taken a bit to put the little pieces of our life that we do have unpacked together.  We are already relishing our time with family and enjoy being so close! We had a fun and fabulous 4th! We hope yours was safe and full of fun!

Here's a recap:

Aunt Emily shared her tradition of donuts on the 4th with us!
Who is this under the hat?
Austin's card he made for the US Soldiers in Iraq.  He worked on it so hard... it was so cute.
Austin & Chasey singing in the 4th of July program.  Okay so they didn't know all the words but they were so cute anyway!
Grandma Stephenson & Austy.  Our entire day was filled with grandma's (& grandpa too :)).  So fun!
Dave working on the cards for the soldiers with Austy and Chase.
Another mystery hat wearer!
It is becoming a little more clear who might be hiding under this hat!
It's Chase... you are so silly!
My boys!
Blakey is just too cute to not take pictures of!
Oh! and let's not forget Blake's Diego doll that comes every where with us!
