Happy Birthday Austin!
9 years have not just passed, they have flown by. My little Austin is grown and is now in his pre-teens. He is a social bug and loves friends. He is so inquisitive and loves to learn. I have loved having him in my life for these 9 short years. This is what happens at a 9 year old's "sports rule" party!

New Years 2010
Mexico was amazing . We spent the days soaking in the fun, riding rhinos, eating tacos, swimming, and playing games. SO happy that the Hoover's were up for a spontaneous trip for New Year's. The kids were ecstatic to light firecrackers in the sand dunes (and so were the dads). It was such a happy new year indeed!

Addi all bundled up!

Grabbing a bite to eat at a yummy taco shop

Playing football outside the house

This is not a green screen, this is the real sun setting behind two of my favorite people.

Playing Legos

The boys watching from the waterslide...
Watching Football in Spanish!
Lounging after all the swimming and partying!

Okay I know I am the biggest poser ever! HA! And Kim is telling the kids "what's up now?" cause she was winning!

Christmas 2010
It was a very Merry Christmas at the Farnsworth home. Chase came it at 1 am and started saying "Merry Christmas! Merry Christmas!" We kindly led him back to his room and told him it would still be a Merry Christmas many hours later :) We kept them at bay until 6:15 am and then dove into the presents. It was a sweet morning that followed a very sweet Christmas Eve. My entire family, Dave's grandparents, and the Hoover's came over for Christmas Eve. All of the children acted out the Nativity while uncle Dave read from Luke, we ate, played hand bells and sang songs. I can't help but feel overwhelmed by the people who bless my life. I am surrounded by so many amazing people and I love my family so much. I am the baby of 9 so it is fun to finally be all grown up and host parties of my own :)
Notice Buddy the Elf made his way to the Christmas tree Christmas morning!
Mrs. Clause is so kind to us and always finds time to leave some of our favorite treats for us every year!
The stockings were filled!
SO glad we captured this "No Way!!" face.

Addi loved all of her presents, but especially any one that was pink or had sparkles on it!

A Day in the Dessert
Have I mentioned how much we love Arizona in the winter time? We spent the day quadding and riding rhinos in the dessert during winter break. We ate so much junk food, relaxed and chatted the day away. The weather was perfect and there was hardly any dust because of the rain the day before. The boys thought it was funny to drive us up "The Widow Maker" on the quads and laughed while we screamed. I love having my sister Shauna live close and having great friends to plan fun family days with. I know I am blessed and for that I am truly grateful and truly happy.
