Zoo trip with dad...

Women's Conference

Women's conference was especially amazing this year. Every single one of my sisters was able to make it. We had the best time together. Laughing like only sisters can make you do, crying, sharing stories, divulging struggles, finding strength in each other. I can't think of any other week end I look forward to more in a year. I leave a better person, more willing to do good, trying to be better, and just plain happier. I can't wait to do it again, and again, and again. I love my family.
Shelly gave us a sweet ride to Utah...
My mom and oldest sister Sandie
This is what we got to see every morning and afternoon. It was so amazing to hear everyone sing together. It never ceases to amaze me how I feel part of something so powerful when I am with all of these sisters.

I had no camera (what??) But I managed to snap a shot of us at the service project. Quilting for the second year in a row, and filing emergency packages for victims of war or natural disasters.
We might not have slept as much as we should have at night, so some of the Allen girls caught some quick ZZZ's in class :)

Grandma Watkin's funeral

Grandma was such a powerful figure for me. She was always a present Grandma who took interest in my life, desired to teach me the important things in life (like how to crochet :) and mostly how important it is to live the Gospel). I am grateful for the wonderful 99 years of valiant effort she put on this earth before passing. She left a powerful posterity that will be blessed for having her in our lives. She requested to be buried with her current temple recommend in hand, and she was. Faithful to the end. I miss you grandma, and know that Grandpa is doing the boogie dance he is so happy to have you back in his arms.

All the siblings at the cemetery. A rose tribute to grandma (Grandpa brought her a rose every day of his life until he died).

Blake's end of year party!

Blake, Addi and I spent the day with his preschool class at Espee Park. We had so much fun playing in the water and picnicking! I love these little stinkers.
