Austin's adventures...

Austin has been a busy boy! He just finished up his baseball season with a fabulous coach and team! It was a team that consisted of mostly boys from our neighborhood and it was so great to watch these boys grow together! From the beginning to the end of the season we saw a huge improvement in both Austin's confidence and his playing ability! He is such a champ! Go DEFENDERS!

Just 4 months after entering Cub Scouts Austin earned his wolf on Tuesday night! (and about a bazillion belt loops!) He loves Scouting so much! It has been so fun to work so closely with him as he earns each achievement. He is "wolfing" down his chocolate pudding for the crowd.

Finally, Austin had his Spring recital on Wednesday. He played "Star Wars" and "When the Saints Go Marching In". He is so self motivated to wake up at 6:30 every morning and practice! He is getting to be such a good little pianist!

Gila Valley Temple Open House...

We took a quick trip with some friends to go through the Gila Valley Temple with our families. It was such a neat experience for all of us. The kids really enjoyed witnessing the inside of such a beautiful place and it helped them understand a little more about what we do inside. It was totally worth the drive and effort it took to get there! We had so much fun with the Clegg's and Hoover's too! We just love them and their cute families!

We let the kids change and play at the park after waiting so patiently to get into the temple and being so reverent for SO long! They were so happy to move around and play!

Women's Conference 2010

Women's Conference is the best tradition I can think of for my family. My mom, sisters, and I spend 3 days laughing so hard we can hardly breathe, staying up way too late telling stories and sharing spiritual experiences, and coming home ready to take on the world!
I loved Women's Conference this year. The classes were as amazing as the company. I love the ideas and impressions I received to do and be better (which unfortunately there are quite a few areas I need to do so), but with those impressions pushing me to be better also came the sweet confirmation that I am at least headed in the right direction. I am so blessed to have such an amazing group of girls surround me, so blessed to have the Gospel, and REALLY blessed to have one amazing hubby at home to watch the kids while I am away!

The flight to SLC...
Dinner with my fam at the girliest salad and pastry shop we could find!
Waiting for classes to start we decided to snap a pic. We had just finished writing Shelly's son, Elder Senior, a letter to take with him on his mission he was leaving for 3 days later!
This is what we woke up to every morning!!
By mid afternoon we got to experience this amazing beauty!
Utah is such a beautiful place!

Each evening we played and laughed and played. I think the most important lesson that we learned from my wise mother was that you are never too old or young to jump on the bed!

I loved shopping the day away with not a care in the world!
And watching girlie movies that made us cry!
It was such a fun and inspiring trip! I can't wait til next year!

Ragnar So Cal 2010

Well the "real housewives of Arizona" took off Thursday night to run the Southern California Ragnar relay. It was seriously such a fabulous time and I feel so happy to have rubbed shoulders with these amazing ladies (even if the circumstances were half insane to begin with). We each took three running legs and we were relaying from 6 am Friday morning until 4 pm Saturday afternoon. There were so many fun memories made and there isn't a better way to get to know intimately the beautiful California coast (or a bunch of girls for that matter). My cheeks hurt thinking about all the fun, laughs and tears we had!

The real housewives of AZ
Before the race began in Ventura...
Taking a detour and making the most of it!
My night run with my trustee biker KaraWaiting for Beth to run by we decided to expend a little extra energy!
Stretching for my last run (which was a killer 5.5 hilly craziness). I look pretty serious, but to all who know me know that I am hardly that!
TRHSOA bringing it home in Dana Point. It was the perfect ending to a fun, crazy and perfect race!

Smiling at our accomplishment...
Til next year?
