Gingerbread House Decorating

We have had the tradition of decorating gingerbread houses during the Holidays since Austin was a baby. It has evolved over the years as we have moved from place to place, but one thing has stayed consistent is how much fun we have decorating. Some years our houses are elaborate and ridiculous with jolly rancher lakes and snow capped rooftops. Other years we have dedicated our gingerbread house to the inner gangsters in Dave and I by making our own little gingerbread projects housing. This year it was all about the kids. They had so much fun decorating houses on two separate occasions. I love the Holidays and traditions to look forward to. I hope this is one tradition they take with them to their own families someday!
