Cub Scout Service Project

After 5 years of primary work as 1rst counselor and chorister, I am now the Cub Committee Chair for our ward. Which is so great especially because I get to work with my hunk of a hubby who is the Cubmaster. We have a lot of fun! Our troop went to East Mesa Health Care and decorated the rest home for Christmas. We decorated windows, tables, and decorated their tree. The boys were able to pass around poinsettias to the residents so they could take them to their rooms and have some holiday decoration of their own. It was so sweet to watch these boys serve. I got a little teary when the boys were singing carols to the residents. I am so happy to have the opportunity to be a part of this sweet experience. Now that I have finished this project for scouts I'm onto planning the entire next year. I am still not even sure what Blue and Gold is. I better learn quick!
