Dave and I are on the search for the "perfect" place to live. Since we have actually concluded there is NO perfect place we will have to choose somewhere that comes close. We have the rare opportunity to actually choose (albeit one time) where we live for the rest of our life. Anywhere...really. We are actually pretty lucky, but to me it would be way easier to "go where my hubby's job takes us". Well since we can't say that, the choice is up to us. Because we will be stuck with our choice we have spent a lot of time in prayer and doing as much research as we can about different areas (although we can only do so much research over the Internet). We think we may have narrowed it down to three: South Jordon, UT, Flower Mound, TX, and Gilbert, AZ. We would love any information all of you have on South Jordon, UT and Gilbert, AZ. Since we live in Flower Mound we have gathered the needed info here. And yes we are from AZ, but so much has changed in the past 6 years since we have lived there. So if you wouldn't mind sharing about the schools, the homes, the communities, activities, and shopping :) that would be wonderful!!! I know not all of you will know about these areas, but if you do have any information it would be greatly appreciated if you could share it. We are just trying to gather as much information as we can before we make our decision. Dave will have to make his decision probably by the end of the summer so we can move forward to finish out a building and set up his business.
We actually are just hoping one day we will turn on the computer and a divine mapquest will show the way to our new home town. Hasn't happened yet, but we will keep you posted :)
