I guess I had it coming to me. Austin and Chase were a breeze to potty train. Blake on the other hand has been quite the little naughty. He will go potty all day long in the toilet for a coin and a gumball on the gumball machine. But he WILL NOT, I mean seriously, will not go #2! He has always been a weird pooper. Like an all day everyday pooper. So why did I think something would change?
I thought I was such a good mom because Austin and Chase were easily potty trained through the night by 2 1/2. But apparently there is a variable in there that effects the potty training outcome. The variable is personality.
I try to explain to him that he can't go to preschool if he isn't potty trained, but to no avail he just sweetly declines. That is Blake's magic power is his sweetness when he says things. For example, in the sweetest voice possible "I hate you Chase", "I has to be rude", "Poopie on the ground", etc.
I guess it will be disappointing enough to him to find out he won't always be rewarded for going potty. Anyone want to house train my just turned 3-year-old?
