Spring Break 2010...Cali

It came and went too fast, but Spring break was such a hoot! We spent most of the week in California, soaking up the sun and frequenting Disneyland as much as we could take! I always love our drives together. We chat for hours, uninterrupted time together in the car is something I have come to cherish. Not only do we chat, but we usually laugh a lot too. This trip we set a new record. We made up new "diarrhea cha cha cha" song for a full hour of the drive. I know, I am the worst mom for allowing it, but if I can't beat 'em join 'em.
We spent Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday at Disneyland. It wasn't too busy and the weather was amazing. We rode every ride we ever hoped to, saw plays and parades, and walked about a million miles! We would leave for naps and come back rested and ready to play again. We swam any moment we weren't at Disneyland, and while Dave played with the kids in the pool I read my book and got a tan! What a good hubby! I love family vacay's! They don't happen enough for me, but I am grateful for the ones that come our way!

Grizzly Bear Run... the kids rode this ride a few times right in a row! I loved early morning because there were NO lines!

Shopping at Downtown Disney... the boys looooooved the LEGO store!

Chase- (when he is grumpy) "Fine I'll just never ever ever come out of my room and you will never be able to look at me again!"
Blake- "How do mom's know when brothers and sisters don't have their seat belts on?"
Blake- "Thanks mom for being the best toocter (cooker)!"
Austin (while trying to figure out what a clearplay DVD player does) "So in Star Wars instead of voilence the fighting scenes will be all ballerina-ey?"
Blake (while praying) "Thanks that dad is the best! And that Chase is good at riding his scooter, and that mom is gonna make me whatever I want for dinner"
Blake (when he heard his echo outside) "Mom, there's more Blakes!"
Chase- "Why doesn't gravity work when we swim under water?"
Chase- "We need to move to Texas next week." Mom- "Why?" Chase- "There are so many trees and green things here and that means more Oxygen. We need oxygen to live mom"
Blake- "Mom, this is the biggest, this is the kinda biggest, and this one is the smallest"
Blake- "Let's jump on the jump-o-lene"
Chase- "The best thing about swimming is that you don't have to wear underwear".
Blake- "Moses did not have apple juice"
Chase- (during the prayer) "Please help that Grandama Watkins will never die. I can find the red brick on lego Batman, and that this soup won't be poisined"
Blake- Whenever he is mad at someone he yells "DOE (go) to your room DOE (go)"
Austin- "Little peoples brains are bigger than adults when it comes to video games mom"
Austin- "We voted today at school mom and I voted for McCain. He won and Alobama lost"
Chase- "Stop talking dad you are making me colder"
Blake "twinkle twinkle little diaper" (then proceeds to laugh at his own joke)
Blake- "too-tees (cookies) I want too-tees"
Chase- (to Austin because he was mad at him) "I am not going to say I am thankful for you in my personal prayer"
Chase- "Mom Austin said the two socks word." Mom- "What word is that?" Chase- "Socksy"
Chase- "I hope heaven is just like Peter Piper Pizza"
Austin- "You're the meanest mom. I hope you have bad dreams."
Chase- "Uno, dos, thres, cathrow, sinkle, sies"
Chase- "My belly button disappeared"
Mom- "Austin pick up your towel...the magic fairy is on vacation" Austin " Who authorized that?"
Austin- "Duh" (to everything)
Chase- "I just did a grandpa poop. It is soooo big"
Blake- "packpack packpack" (when singing along with Dora)
Chase- "When I say 'me' I mean myself Mom"
Chase- "I want to stay fwee (3) foreber"
Chase- (After I told him it was time to go) "I can't go. I can't find myself. I don't know where I am"
Austin- (while saying a prayer) "Thank you for the 466 hours of conference we watched this week end"
Chase- "Mom how did God make the trees and people and houses?"
Chase- "Mom I want to say a prayer so that Satan will make good choices today"
Chase- "I neber want to go to Venus. It is way too stormy there"
Chase- "Mom I am kind of sick of you talking. Thanks"
Chase- "Mom you are going to HAVE to be beliebing this. I saw a tunnel that water from rain storms goes through. Can you belieb that?"
Chase (while eating his salad) "Mom I can't eat my tomatoes. My tomatoes don't like me"
Chase "Moninee" Stephanie + Mom = Mominee
Austin said, "Mom what happens when President Hinkley dies?" I said, "God chooses another prophet to take his place." Austin said, "Mom, I hope He picks me."
Austin "It's okay Chase I am a doctor, I can help" (After Chase skinned his elbow)
Austin "I'm gonna tell dad that you were a boring mom today"
Chase "Dad was wike da Holy Ghost" (After Dave gave Blakey a blessing)
Chase "I don't wike you Autee" (his response to Austin when he gets teased)
Austin "Uggghh. I forgot" (his response after he gets in trouble for anything)
Chase "Crouton and Ruffus did it" (Crouton = pet gorilla, Ruffus= pet dog)
Chase (when he had a wet spot in his undies and I asked him what happened) "Somebody went potty in my pants."
Chase "I don't like anybody."
Chase "I wish der was nupping on the Earth, No grass or gardens to weed."
Chase "My legs won't walk any more"
Austin "Will Heavenly Father ever stop sending people to Earth?"
Austin "Mom, think about it. What if there were no germs on the whole earth? Then no one would ever be sick. Why did Heavenly Father put germs on the earth anyway. Doesn't seem like a nice thing to do."
Chase "You weren't the best mom today."
Chase "Mom. Mom. MOM! Hear this, BUUUUURRRRRP"
Chase "Hold me mom. Not just right now...for eber and eber."
Austin (sneaking out of his room after being put to bed) "Mom, why do you always blog after we go to bed? I thought you graduated from blogging last year?"
Chase (we were trying to catch a lizard on our front porch) "Mom we don't eat lizards. We can eat hot dogs or cold dogs, but not lizards."
