Christmas 2009

Call me old fashioned, but I am in LOVE with Christmastime. I love seeing family, being crafty, baking, being with friends, having the kids home, and don't forget eating! We had a wonderful Christmas and break!

We spent time making Christmas gifts for neighbors and teachers...

Decorating gingerbread houses with the kids!Having our annual neighborhood Christmas party! He is really the "true" Santa Clause.

Santa was checking to see if Austin has really been "nice"...

Santa walked through the door as we all sang the song "Santa Clause is coming to town" at the top of our lungs. We were so happy he heard us singing so he could come! The kids went crazy!
Santa passed out gifts to each of the kids... (a brand new pair of PJ's for Christmas Eve)
Christmas morning came a little too early for us (but not early enough for the kids!) It was magical. I keep thinking it will be so sad someday when the kids are all grown up. For now we just relish our Christmas morning magic with them!

Mrs. Clause always shares a nice treat with us Christmas morning. All the kids favorite treats! We are so happy she found us again this year!

After a fun morning of presents and treats we hopped in the car for a treasure hunt at the Riparian Preserve with Dave's family. With the help of some compasses, binoculars and whistles we found all the treasures from Grandma Kathy!

The whole gang...
