Morning Routine...

Does anyone else have a hard time with morning routines? I mean we have a chart that shows how our mornings "should" go, but how come our mornings sometimes end up jumbled, hurried or resembling a UFC fight? It depends on so many variables how the morning goes...I guess it should be a miracle that ANY morning goes well.

Variables:
Did I wake up on time?
Did the kids get enough sleep (who cares if I did)?
Did someone wake up angry and is then unwilling to cooperate getting dressed (or doing anything for that matter)?
Are beds made?
Did someone use the wrong toothbrush and anger the true owner?
Did someone wear someone elses socks that they were going to wear?
Did someone else take the chore off the chart that they wanted to do?
Did Blake come up and steal someones vitamins and quickly put them in him mouth (this is a frequent occurrence believe it or not)? I make the boys pay me 10 cents if this happens.
Did someone bring toys to the table for breakfast and get them put in toy jail?
Did someone make up a goal for a day like "say bad words" or "don't be good" instead of making real ones up?
Is ANYONE listening to the scriptures? (I mean do the kids really even understand what "grafted branch" on the "olive tree" means even if I try to explain it? Oh! well)
How many glasses of milk are spilled?
Are we having oatmeal again... ham and eggs AgAiN... cereal AGAIN? (I seriously made a breakfast chart so they know what we are having each morning so we wouldn't have this problem... it hasn't helped much)
Lunches made?
HW in backpacks?
Reading logs signed?
Spelling words practiced?
Out the door on time?

How do you guys make things work in the mornings? Am I missing something here? Or am I doomed for years of chaos?
