Speechless...

First and foremost I need to thank Alison for nominating me for this award. I mean, who knew that a SAHM of silly yet sweet boys would have anything to offer the blogging world. Alison says the nomination is because I am "supermom". Unfortunately the reality is I am a mom who is terribly over her head wishing she had super powers! Alison is the one I need to thank (or blame?) for my blogging in the first place. I saw her funny, witty, & insightful blog about a year and a half ago and wanted to create a blog space of my own. I credit her for reconnecting with so many good friends. So, thank you Alison for this prestigious award ;)

Second, I need to thank my family for my blogging inspiration. Without such an out of control family I may not need as many lists, charts, mommy school ideas, weekly menu plans, etc. So thank you guys for feeding my OCD! Love you to pieces.

A little disclaimer: I feel a little guilty that everything I was nominated for I have been slacking on for awhile! Since the move and the pregnancy. So this is my resolve to do a little better and live up to all I was nominated for! (muhahaha)

Now here are the rules:

1. The winner can put the logo on their blog. 2. Link to the person you received your award from. 3. Nominate at least 7 other blogs. 4. Put links of those blogs on yours. 5. Leave a message on the blogs you've nominated. 6. Write an acceptance speech in the style of the Academy Awards.

And to share the love, I nominate these wonderful blogs in no particular order...

1. The Best of What's Around by The Fehlberg Family- Some of the funniest people I know... really. Kaedi and I were roomates in Provo and had some seriously fun times. She is amazing and there isn't anything she can't do! They are some of the best parents I know. They live in New York and share some great commentary on life and living in the city. If I want to just laugh I click on their blog and HOPE there is a new post to be read!

2. Ashleigh's Impressions- Ashliegh is my sister-in-law. She lives in Utah with her 4 adorable kids all under that age of 4! She created this blog seperate from her family blog to just share thoughts and ideas. First, she is a really great writer so her blog is easy and fun to read, but mostly I just admire her for saying things other people just think about saying! Not just that she is super creative too!

3. The Dahl Family- I never actually knew Jenny really well, but I knew her family. Dave dated her for awhile in high school and after getting to know her via her blog I know why! I love her blog because with EVERY post I am enamored with her ability to express herself and to leave the reader feeling as if they have just completely experienced what she has and really FEEL the way she does. She is a great mom and a total inspiration to get back into shape after baby!

4. My Crazy Life- If you are looking for a blog that makes you feel like you are totally uncreative and could do WAY better as a mom, this is it! Mostly, this is a great blog to get ideas from and stand in awe that someone like this could actually exist. Sherelle shares everything on her blog from hairdo's, scrap pages, crafty menu planners, and digi pages just to name just a few. Sherelle designs for Fiskars and Melissa Frances.

5. The Birchall Family- Summer and I have been friends since high school and have shared some way fun memories. I love Summer's blog because I live vicariously through her and her family. They are bascially the non-white trash version of my family. We both have 3 boys and are about to have our first girl. Her boys always look adorable and never have even one spike out of place. They travel what seems like 300 days a year and have so many fun family traditions! So if you think my family is cool check out the Birchall's! You can't help but love 'em!

It was so hard to choose just a few. I could probably nominate every one of you for your great mommy ideas, amazing pictures, and thoughts on life! I love reading your blogs so keep the posts a commin!

Lots of love,
Steph
