Oh look... an update!

Well, it's been awhile. So here is the longest post ever. Here is what we have been up to:

Happy Birthday to my hubby Dave (on the 19th). We went to Kona Grill and celebrated with some close friends. We had some seriously yummy food, good laughs, and great company! I am super excited about his super awesomely thoughtful gift from me :) Coldplay tickets! Okay they were a little selfish too.
(now to the personal mushy stuff)
Dave, I hope you know how much I appreciate all you do for our family. I am so proud of all you have accomplished and I still feel like the luckiest girl in the world to not only have you for my hubby, but to have you for my best friend (now you can all throw up, but I mean it). Thanks for always making me laugh and keeping me in check. We make a great team, wub you.

This awesome pic was done by Emily for Chad and Dave's bday. If you know them you know why this is so funny.

We had a girls brunch to celebrate Ali coming into town. It is always so nice to get away and have some adult QT. We need to do it WAY more often. I am waiting for an ever so exciting girls trip (sooner than later?)

Me & Beth
Addi & Sage (Here is the difference between 5 weeks and 4 months)

Ali & Caryn

Addi has taken our family by storm, a good storm, but a storm nonetheless. She is slowly gaining weight and weighs a whopping 8 lbs 2 oz. She is so much fun and is totally and completely spoiled rotten. She is not sleeping very much, but she is so fun to hold and spoil I don't mind. Hopefully she will get chubby and happy soon so she will sleep through the night and so these darn bags under my eyes will go away!!

Austin is playing soccer again this season. He has gotten really good. He has gotten pretty aggressive and he practices running so he can be the fastest. He gets so embarrassed when I cheer for him it is so cute. I try hard to obey his wishes but every so often a "Go Austy" just slips out!

Chase is playing soccer this season too. Ya, lucky me I know. 2 practices a week and 2 games on Saturday. Dave has been working Saturdays so I go all by my lonesome with all of the kids. I look like a crazy woman trying to keep Blake off of the field with Addi in the carrier or papoose! Seriously I must really love my kids! Anyway, Chasey is finally starting to get aggressive and have contact with the ball. He has a great coach (thanks Rusty) and for his first season of organized sports, Chase is playing like a champ.

The fam and I took a trip to Schnepf's farm. If you thing the name is hard to say you should try driving there to find it. After a few wrong turns, we made it and it was so worth the effort! The kids picked out pumpkins, rode the roller coaster and all of the rides. It was so fun to just be there together. My camera pooped out on me so our pics are limited (bummer I know).

Last, but not least, we had a fabulous trip to the park with Ami and her boys. We had so much fun having a picnic, decorating Halloween buckets, and having light saber battles. The kids were so good and it was so fun to chat with Ami and catch up. I am SO loving the AZ weather and remember now why it is so great to live here.

This is Blake's excited face. He is seriously such a crack up. He even does the jazz hands for further emphasis of his excitement.
