Women's Conference 2009
This was the first year I was able to join my sisters (Stacy, Sherri, & Shelly) for a week end getaway to Women's Conference at BYU. Can I just say I had the time of my life and I cannot wait to do it again next year. We missed having my amazing mom there who had to cancel her ticket last minute in order to take care of my dad.
23,000 women there to get answers to prayers, get motivated, have their hearts softened, or to feel a little comfort during difficult times.
Class after class of amazing stories and sweet testimonies. We took a ton of notes... and doodled a ton too! By the end we were trying to sell our artwork to each other!
A tiny bit of shopping? Okay a little more than a tiny, but who better to do it with than your sisters?
The service project Thursday night! We (all of the women at the conference) made thousands of items: blankets, tutu's, crowns, cards, humanitarian packages, etc. It was such a great feeling to be a part of something so meaningful. A bunch of ladies standing, talking and laughing while serving! So cool!!
Riding the bus to the Marriott center...
Late nights with the girls staying up playing card games, late night chats, shedding a few tears, and enjoying many laughs.

At the tail end of my trip I was able to get together with my bffs Heidi and Wendy (& Kenz) for dinner and an all night chat! It was so great to get to catch up and just pick up where we left off!
This has been my thing lately. I have been making up different punch cards for my kids . This is the one I have at their dinner settings at night. They get a punch if they eat without complaining, clear their plate, and use good manners. As soon as their punch card is filled up, they turn it in for a dinner and dessert of their choice! It's worked great so far :)
