
Okay this book is too good not to share. I am always up for a good find or frankly a way to make my life a little easier! This book shares some great ideas to sneak a few veggies into meals without even letting your kids know. Ya, I guess the idea is to teach our kids to use their own agency to pick those yummy cucumber slices over those fruit snacks, but let's face it some days I just don't want the fight. So if you are looking for some yummy recipes with sneaky veggies in them you gotta try this book out!
Some tips:
Blueberries do hide spinach – so perfect in a berry smoothie. My kids never know I sometimes add a handful of raw spinach to their after-school smoothie treat! For pasta and pizza sauce, I chop up whatever is in the fridge - carrots, spinach,
zucchini, broccoli or squash, in the food processor and add to the sauce just before serving.
