Okay onto the real post. In Texas you drive up to church, the gym, the park, the pool, you name it and see a sea of mini vans in all different shapes, sizes, and colors. The last few times I have driven in Arizona I think I maybe saw one mini van every 100 cars (which 90% were SUV's). Texas is truck country, but don't tell Texas that I beg to differ. AZ has it beat with all it's SUV's. So all of you mom's... what's the deal? I have nothing against SUV's, but I do have to wonder as a foreigner coming back:
-at like $20,000 less
-with doors that open for you
-with way more miles to the gallon
-with stow and go seating that allows you to fit another family inside
What gives? *As a mini van driver I would hate to be stoned as I reach the city limits.
*No, I am not afraid to be different mom. I really am just wondering.
