Spring Break 08'

Spring Break was so much fun! It was the first Spring Break since we have had kids that we didn't travel anywhere, we just stayed home and well spent time with each other. I loved having Austin home again. I realize how much I miss him at school everyday. Yes, the house was way messier than normal, there was more fighting than normal, and we stayed up a little later than normal, but we made some seriously fun memories.

Our Week In Summary:

Flower Mound Egg Hunt. With Heidi, Wendy & Co.

Rainy Day at "Going bonkers" with some friends from the ward. (Thanks Lindsay for the pics!)

Undocumented day at the Fort Worth Zoo. (It took 5 hours total from start to finish) We just happen to choose to go on the day Fort Worth Zoo made an all time record for sales 17,000. Lucky us! It was still way fun and the kids had a blast.

Swimming for 2 1/2 hours at Lifetime, and a camp out in the backyard with dad. Ever made s'mores with sterno? ha ha!

Egg Hunt on Saturday with some good friends from our ward. It was such a good turn out and every child went home with 12 eggs! No tears, no sad little ones that weren't fast enough. The weather was amazing and the company was great!

Egg roll off at the Yost's. Let the strongest egg win? Well, ours almost won (thanks to the hard as nails nail enamel I painted on our egg. Too bad the Benjamin Moore paint the Hardy's used on their organic eggs took the overall prize. Thanks Yost's for a fun time :)

Bounce World with the boys. I love these indoor bounce house warehouses! So inspired. I am hoping there are some fun places like this to ease those hot Summer days in AZ!

Today we resume normal schedules with school and preschool. It is nice to get back into a routine, but I am getting excited for Summertime and having the kids again!

Side note: I am feeling better everyone. I haven't thrown up since last Saturday! Woo hoo!!
